The Certificate III in Community Services is perfect for entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of person-centred services. Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.
At this level, work takes place under the direction of others and supervision may be direct or indirect. Work may take place in a range of community services organisations.
This course is delivered online and is self-funded. If you’re based in the Perth metro area, you may be eligible to study this course on campus with government funding.

Course Description
Training Delivery
The Certificate III in Community Services course is delivered online and is fully self-paced. This means you can study when and where it suits you, without set class times. You’ll follow a structured training plan but have the flexibility to progress through the course materials at your own pace, with access to support as needed.

Entry Requirements
There are no academic entry requirements for this qualification. Students are required to provide their Unique Student Identifier (USI) which we can assist with, photo identification and meet the language, literacy and numeracy requirements.
Upon Completion
Upon successful completion of this qualification, you will receive a:
- Nationally recognised Certificate & Transcript OR
- Statement of Attainment (if student is found competent in at least 1 Unit of Competency)
